INC. CHANGES NAME ACIES, INC.
New name reinforces the company’s
commitment to be customer “focused”
NEW YORK, NY – June 25, 2004 – GM Merchant Solutions, Inc.
(“GMS”), a leading financial services firm and a registered ISO/MSP
of JP Morgan Chase Bank, today announced that GMS has changed
the company name from GM Merchant Solutions, Inc. to Acies, Inc.
The word Acies is Latin for sharpness; the quality of being
sharp, clear and focused. Oleg Firer, Acies’ President and Chief
Executive Officer said, “Since GMS’ founding the company has
always maintained a clear focus on serving its customers, which
has enabled GMS to become the premier financial services firm
that it is today.” Mr. Firer continued, “Therefore, today we
proudly call the company Acies, which further demonstrates our
commitment to our customers, agents and independent sales
organizations (ISO).”
In the very near future, Acies(sm) intends to re-launch its
website under a new internet address and begin to brand the new
company name, and from that point forward Acies will no longer
use the name GM Merchant Solutions in commerce.
