Acies eCommerce DCC service allows your Web-based International customers the flexibility of paying in their own currency. A customer from Mexico can buy the same item from the same site and receive a price in Pesos.

Once a currency is selected based on the consumer's issuing bank location, the transaction remains in that currency throughout the entire transaction and settlement process. As such, both merchant and consumer know the exact transaction amount at the time of the sale - no more waiting and guessing at conversion rates. It is a more precise, reliable way to process international sales.

Acies Front-End DCC allows your traditional face-to-face customers flexibility of paying in their own currency. It is a payment solution that provides convenience and sense of confidence to your global customers. A customer from Japan can pay their hotel bill in U.S. Dollars or Yen. A customer from the UK can pay for the same room in Pound Sterling or U.S. Dollars.

With the Front-End service, the consumer is offered a choice to pay in his/her own currency or the merchant's currency at the point of sale. Once a currency is selected by the consumer, the transaction remains in that currency throughout the entire transaction and settlement process. As with the eCommerce solution, both merchant and consumer know the exact transaction amount at the time of the sale.

Acies Multi-currency service allows global merchants to accept, settle and be funded for transactions in multiple currencies. Foreign outlets of these merchants can be processed through a single global relationship while being funded in the merchant's preferred currencies. The merchant's treasury operations benefit because the merchant never has to convert currencies where it is unnecessary when, for example, the foreign outlet accepts payment from a consumer in their own country.

With the DCC services, foreign currency rates are electronically updated, ensuring that the most current conversion rates are used at the time of each transaction.
